To ensure the best results, avoid using Retin-A, retinoids, topical antibiotics, exfoliants, hydroquinone, and benzoyl peroxide for at least three days before your treatment. A topical numbing crème will be applied before the procedure, so please inform us of any medication allergies.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds (always), and self-tanning products for at least three days before your appointment. (But don’t worry—you can always book a spray tan afterward ;)) If you arrive with sunburned skin, we will have to reschedule.

Wash pillowcases and sheets to avoid bacteria while you sleep.

It’s important to arrive with fully cleansed skin, free of makeup, moisturizers, perfume, cologne, or any other skincare products. Please do not shave the area to be treated. If you have active acne in the treatment area, please call us to reschedule your appointment.

First Few Days: Gently cleanse and moisturize the treated area and avoid scrubbing, rubbing, or using exfoliating products for at least one week to ensure proper healing. You may apply makeup 2 days after your treatment if necessary and apply sunscreen daily to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

First Week of Healing: Ensure the treated area remains clean throughout the healing process. Refrain from smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, vigorous exercise, sweating, swimming, or exposing your skin to heat and direct sunlight. These activities can hinder the healing process.

Skin Care Products: Use only non-irritating, non-clogging skin care products for the first 7 to 10 days after your treatment. Apply a moisturizer at least once (but ideally twice) per day to keep your skin hydrated. We also recommend using a vitamin C serum daily to aid healing and reduce pigmentation.

Avoid Irritating Products: Your skin will be more sensitive during the first week or two after treatment. Avoid Harsh Products: Do not use any of the following until your skin has fully healed: Scrubs, Toners, Glycolic acid, Retinoids (RetinA, retinol), Bleaching creams (hydroquinone)

Daily Sunscreen Use: is crucial for preventing discoloration and protecting healing skin from UV damage. Always use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher daily for at least 3 months following your treatment. Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before going outdoors & reapply every 2 hours. If sun exposure is unavoidable, wear protective clothing, a hat, and ensure treated area is fully covered.
